Amazon has an amazing price on the M2 MacBook Air right now, which can be yours for just $829. That’s going to save you $170 off of the regular price. Making it the best price of the year for this model – and also the cheapest ever.
This is the 2022 model, but that is still the newest model. Since Apple hasn’t yet upgraded the MacBook Air to the M3, and the M4 is only available on the iPad Pro right now. We’ve also heard rumors that there won’t be any new hardware announced at WWDC next week, so it’s a safe bet that this is going to be the latest MacBook Air until at least the fall.
With a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, the MacBook Air is simply gorgeous. It has a notch for the camera, which allows it to get to that 13.6-inch size while retaining the same size body as the former 13.3-inch model. Inside is the M2 chip as previously mentioned, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Now, the RAM might sound pretty low on this model, but keep in mind that macOS does very well with little RAM and also uses Swap to extend the RAM. So unless you’re planning to do loads of video editing on this machine, the 8GB of RAM should be plenty.
