The iPhone 16 Pro series devices are tipped to have the thinnest bezels on the market. This information has been confirmed by two sources, basically. One of them is well-known, and trusted, Ice Universe.

The iPhone 16 Pro series will have the thinnest bezels out there

He said that the iPhone 16 Pro will come with thinner bezels, and surpass the Galaxy S24 in that regard. He added that it will have the “narrowest bezel” out of any smartphone on the market.

With that in mind, another tipster, Setsuna Digital, shared even more information. He said that the iPhone 16 Pro will have a bezel thickness of 1.2mm. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is said to go even thinner than that with 1.15mm.

Exact bezel thickness has been revealed too

As a reminder, the iPhone 15 Pro’s bezels are 1.71mm thick. The iPhone 14 Pro, on the flip side, has bezel thickness of 2.15mm. Apple is constantly trimming down bezels on its smartphones.

Apple is using BRS in order to make that happen. BRS stands for “borderless display technology”. Apple seemingly had some problems with that tech, but it managed to solve them.

In case you’re wondering if those bezels will be uniform, the answer is… yes. Apple is always aiming for uniform bezels when it comes to iPhones, and this time won’t be any different.

Apple’s new iPhones are coming in September

The entire iPhone 16 series is expected to arrive in September this year. Apple will once again announce four models, the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The company won’t be making major changes design-wise, but next year’s models could be considerably different. The iPhone 16 Pro will also be getting the tetraprism lens from the iPhone 15 Pro Max, by the way. Also, both ‘Pro’ models will arrive with bigger displays. The same does not apply to vanilla units.
