Motorola X50 Ultra images and specs leaked by TENAA certification

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra or Motorola X50 Ultra

Motorola is all set to expand its X series of smartphones by launching the Motorola X50 Ultra in China soon. The company already confirmed the existence of the handset earlier in March via a teaser. The phone is now one step closer to launch as it has received approval from the Chinese certification agency TENAA. The X50 Ultra is expected to be the Chinese variant of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra that debuted earlier in April.

TENAA certification has revealed Motorola X50 Ultra images and key specs

The alleged Motorola X50 Ultra is certified by TENAA under the model number XT2401-2. The X50 Ultra images listed in the certification reveal that it will be identical to the global Edge 50 Ultra model. The device has a curved screen with a hole in the center towards the top to house the selfie camera. The right side houses the volume rocker and the power button.

At the rear, the Motorola X50 Ultra has a large rectangular island towards the top-left corner. It makes room for three cameras with one of them being a telescope lens. There’s a triple-LED flash unit in the same housing as well. The Moto emblem nicely sits in the middle at the rear.

Motorola X50 Ultra will sport a 6.67-inch OLED screen, up to 18GB RAM & 1TB storage

The Motorola X50 Ultra will offer a 6.67-inch curved display, suggests the TENAA listing. The handset will have an OLED screen panel bearing a resolution of 1,220 x 2,712 pixels. The device has been certified with an octa-core processor featuring a max frequency of 3.19GHz. It is expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which also powers the Edge 50 Ultra.

Furthermore, the TENAA listing indicates that the Motorola X50 Ultra will be available in various RAM variants ranging from 8GB to 18GB. Also, the users will have many storage options to choose from – 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The device will be backed by a 4,365mAh battery, which will offer support for 125W fast charging.

Motorola has already teased that the X50 Ultra will flaunt AI features, just like almost every flagship phone launching this year. It could have the same “moto ai” capabilities that debuted with the latest Motorola Edge series handsets. Some of the AI features will be able to enhance your overall imaging experience.

The Motorola X50 is now certified by many important regulatory authorities in China, including 3C and TENAA. This suggests that the phone’s launch is imminent, so stay tuned for more details.
