The OnePlus 12 launched globally in Flowy Emerald and Silky Black colors. In other words, in green and black color options. Well, a new OnePlus 12 color could soon launch globally.
New OnePlus 12 color could arrive to global markets
We’re talking about the white color, or as OnePlus calls it ‘Glacial White’. The company did not confirm this change directly, but a code was spotted in a recent OxygenOS update, and it suggest this color is coming to more markets. It is currently exclusive to China.
The code was spotted by 1NormalUsername, and it was found in the OxygenOS 14.0.0.608 update. Android Authority added that the white color variant of the OnePlus 12 was previously only mentioned in ColorOS builds (in China).
The sheer presence of this colorway in the global OxygenOS build is quite telling. It could indicate the arrival of the Glacial White colorway to global markets. Not necessarily, but chances are it will happen at some point.
The OnePlus 12 has been around since December, as that’s when its Chinese launch happened. The phone arrived to global markets in early 2024. This would not be the first time OnePlus opted to refresh its current-gen Android flagship with a new colorway.

We’ve already been seeing some OnePlus 13 rumors and leaks, but the OnePlus 12 is still a new phone, technically. The OnePlus 13 is not expected to arrive until the very end of this year.
The OnePlus 12 is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the most powerful chip Qualcomm has to offer. It is also equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. It has a large OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate, and that panel also gets quite bright.
