OnePlus Nord 4 launch event reportedly set for July

OnePlus Nord CE4 charging

It seems that OnePlus will launch the Nord 4 during the same month it launched last year’s model, the OnePlus Nord 3. The new device will arrive with powerful specifications, flagship-level performance and a competitive price. The company would also launch a OnePlus Nord 4 CE Lite. The latter would be a more affordable version of the mid-ranger Nord CE 4.

A report by Smartprix claims that the OnePlus Nord 4 launch will take place in July in India. More specifically, the event would take place during the third week of next month. Its predecessor, the Nord 3, arrived in July 2023, although during the first days of the month. So, the next-gen model would only take a couple of extra weeks to become official.

OnePlus Nord 4 expected key specs

Leaks about the OnePlus Nord 4 have been generating some hype due to its specs. The device is said to be an international version of the OnePlus Ace 3V launched in China in March. That means it will boast the powerful Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. This chip is almost a twin of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, but with lower clock speeds and a slightly weaker GPU. Still, the power levels it offers for its segment are impressive.

The integration of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage will help achieve flagship-level performance. Additionally, if the rumors are true, it will have a big 5,500 mAh battery. There are conflicting reports about fast charging support. Some mention 80W, while others say it will maintain the 100W of the Ace 3V on which it is based. Be that as it may, both figures will guarantee very fast charging speeds.

The device would also boast a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with 2.5K resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The rear camera system of the OnePlus Nord 4 would include a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Lastly, its front camera would be a 16MP sensor.
